Our mission is to foster a love of fine arts in the city and county through community projects and events.

Annual Fundraisers
Two of the prominent fundraisers TAC does every year include the Senior Banners and the Veterans Banners. The banners are hung along Main Street, Winter Street, and Mill Street. Senior banners hang during the Spring season leading up to graduation, and Veterans banners hang from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.
Tricia Havard Art Scholarship
Each year, applications submitted by George County graduating seniors are reviewed by a panel for the award of the Tricia Havard Art Scholarship, which provides funds for art or school supplies for seniors planning to attend college. The award depends upon available funds.
Art Workshops & Events
TAC holds regular art workshops and "art party" events as fundraisers, as well as trivia nights and other events throughout the community.

Murals
The Arts Committee has worked on several murals around the City of Lucedale, including the large, interactive
mural located on Mill Street and the Lucedale panels installed at the Coffee Pot Parking Lot on Main Street.
